Blogging and my life

I find blogging very interesting. It is a bit asinine, if I may say, for me to assume that anyone really cares what I think. That is why I have been amused at the bashing of Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks. I don't really know about you, but I don't go to that demographic for my political information. Therefore, I don't care if she likes the President or not. I have made up my mind about him, and her views don't affect that. However, I REALLY LIKE the music of the Dixie Chicks. When they sing about the things they have really lived and know about...life, parenthood, the struggles of relationships, et al, it is insightful and enjoyable.

I continue to digress.

See, there is little going on to write about in my life. I could make a long list of my frustrations about things, but they are all about confidential topics. Job stuff: love the Home and the boys and my coworkers and boss...frustrated with all of it, too. Ministry: tired of smelling the breath of Satan in the church building and facing his guys daily while feeling like I am without resource. Personal life: what is that? Infertility...that is a bad business is for another post all together.

So, we all have the ups and downs, and we all feel like we are merely steps away from losing it. You know it is a good day when you feel like it is 3 steps and a rough one when you aren't sure if it is 1/16th of a step or 1/32nd!

I know, without a doubt, that God is very good and in control. He works out everything for the good...for HIS purposes. I was called for His purposes and not "mine own."

And, by the way, in case anyone was wondering, it is Shiann writing...I don't know if Troy even knows we have this! ;) Okay, so he knows, but has no idea how to get to it to read it. Ha hee hee...
