JESUS WINS!

Revelation 20:10 and the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (NLT)

A few nights ago Jeremy shared this scripture with us in a sermon (okay, so I don’t know when it was for sure). He said that this is a scripture that sustains him in times of difficulty. The fact that JESUS WINS is one that has always been filling to my heart as well. Many, many, many days that is all that keeps me mentally balanced… (Be nice, readers)

After watching The Passion of the Christ, I was the only one who was pumped and excited leaving the theater. Everyone else was crying and stuff. My tears stopped at the depiction of the resurrection. I left with the feeling that everything would be okay. The last picture of the Evil One was of him trapped and cast down. PRAISE GOD! I know that the Tempter is still quite active and could tell you many stories that prove it, but not today.

Since I have chosen to reside, and remain, with Christ in His Earthly and Heavenly Kingdom…I WIN TOO. Not because of what I have done, but because of Jesus. I frequently feel like I’m not a winner, but I am in Christ. Let us not forget this in our journey, but pray and proceed!

  1. I totally agree with you! It's hard for me to remember this during tough times. Thanks for the reminder. It definitely puts things back into perspective. And, yes, sometimes, it's the only thing that sustains us.
