James 1

James 1:16-17 My dear brothers and sisters, don't be fooled. Every good present and every perfect gift comes from above, from the Father who made the sun, moon, and stars. The Father doesn't change like the shifting shadows produced by the sun and the moon. GWT

How many times have I been fooled. Good things that are good for me are from God. Things that are not good for me are not. It is that simple and just that hard. God doesn't change.

He doesn't change his address, His love, or his desire to give those good gifts. He is just as close to me when I feel far from Him than when I feel close. He is the same no matter what I think/feel/do.
