Exodus 14:13-14 Moses answered the people, “Don't be afraid! Stand still, and see what the LORD will do to save you today. You will never see these Egyptians again. The LORD is fighting for you! So be still!”
What (who) are your Egyptians? What held you so tightly that it made more sense for you to go back into its clutches rather than to risk a major trust in God's love? What is it you do that is easier to do something bad for you rather than to sit and allow God to fix it while you rest in His love?
I am frequently unsure what of my battles are ones I need to work on and which ones are for Him to fix. Almost never do I stop and let Him take care of the most of it.
Please consider the possibility that God WANTS to help you get away from your Egyptians and will provide a way out. His way may not make sense and might not be easy. Yet His way is bound to be better than my way.
Great thoughts! Not sure what/who my Egyptians are, but you've got me contemplating and searching. Intraspection is always good!Thank you.
