These are some of the plants that lived through the freeze. I guess I didn't post pictures of that. I'll try to find them. I had a bunch of Begonias and a lovely Wandering Jew that didn't make it. Praise God for bulbous plants!
You can see the front yard after mowing. It has needed it several times already, nice that we've gotten some rain!

These above are galvanized water tanks holding squash and okra. The wheel barrow has cantaloupe in it. It'll look good when blooming but probably really redneck when it produces!

These are the only plants that didn't die from exposure when I moved the seedlings outside. That I'd started inside. Oh well! I started over with the above ones...

Troy tilled up a spot on the side yard where we planted corn, onions, and radishes and maybe more cantaloupe. It is a bit redneck to have a garden in town, in the side yard, but it is likely the best place for it.

Advice against gardening in flip flops. You can see that the soil is loose, at least!

This is how close we are to the Middle/High School. It is taken from the same place in the street when I took the one of the house. It is at the beginning of the next block.
One time I was visiting family in Hollis and I punched a little girl at one of the school playgrounds because she threw sand on my head. Not one of my finer moments, all down hill from there. I was like six or seven when it happened. Love you!! Kathy
