More House and Plant pictures

Here are pictures of the house. I know I just posted some. I took some pics of the inside this time. They are with my phone. It is amazing to me that we have 2 MP cameras on phones. I know some have better, but that's what I have.

First are outside pictures. I took those this evening. The first is my reminder that God makes great things out of what looks like dead things. It is an ivy that has new growth on it in places that I thought I would have to chop. I praise God for that.

Remember the bulbs that survived the wintry weather? Here is the bulb that is living with some Moss Rose (or Rose Moss, can anyone tell me?). Both survived and I think they are gonna look great when they both bloom...if they can live together! We'll see. I reused the pot to plant the bulb piece thinking the plants in it were dead and then the other began to make itself known. How cool to think of what God might have working under the soil of my heart even though I don't know it is growing! He can do that with plants. He's big enough to do that with my heart.

Here is my wheelbarrow full of cantaloupe plants! Isn't that cool!? Yes, and redneck. Get OVER it!

I can't wait to see how this looks when the okra is 4 feet tall! =)

I'm so proud of this squash. Isn't it lovely?! It has grown quickly and I'm thankful for that!

Okay, for the living room. I got an "on call" call when I was taking pictures and didn't keep taking them.

First is the entry. Sorry it is sideways. Blogger wouldn't let me delete and repost a fixed one. We switched to denim curtains...can you imagine that we would have denim curtains?! Yes, there are still boxes around...whatever

This desk is to the right of the front door. If you want to break in and pay our bills, the rolltop will be unlocked for you! Yep, pictures not all put up, too. Troy got the ones up last week and asked me several times what I thought. My responses..."looks good" and "I don't care." I meant it. He did a good job choosing where to put them.

This is the left when you walk in the front door. You can see that it is leading into the kitchen/laundry room.

Troy in the living area. This is a picture of the handiwork of the hanging of decor!

And here is Mercy demanding Daddy's attention! They are quite a pair! She blesses our life quite a bit.

I'll get more pictures some other time.

  1. Thanks for the encouragement. I wish I had my garden planted, but since the rain has quit for about 5 days, we might actually get it done.
