We planned to go to OKC to do some sightseeing and just take some time off around a one day workshop I was to attend. However, I was un-invited to the workshop. We re-planned and then found out about the passing of Troy’s cousin. So, we planned around that as well. We did some swimmin’ in the pool at the hotel and hung out with family some.
Here are some pictures we took at the OKC Murrah Building Bombing Site. It was, again, very emotional for me. I really appreciate the ones depicting Jesus weeping over the loss of life and willingness of those to injure others in an attempt to make a statement to the government. It was quite touching.
We ate at Chellino’s in Bricktown and, of course, some Marble Slab yumminess followed.
