Shut My Mouth

Psalm 139:4-5

LORD, you know what I want to say, even before the words leave my mouth. You are all around me- in front of me and behind me. I feel your hand on my shoulder.
(ERV)

As an extrovert (sometimes off the charts so),
I often find myself saying something quite publicly, or just out loud, that probably should remain just in my head. Sometimes that means I sound bold and many times it means I sound like a goober.

I love the imagery of this verse. I pray it blesses you.

I wonder what I would sound like if I were to pay attention to the Lord's hand on my shoulder. What words would I use or not use? What type of encouragement would I give, and would it be more frequent?

I long to speak blessing to those I know and love and meet. May I and we work to engage in the process of loving and blessing today!
