Troy, Daniel & Angela McCord, and I are taking the Westview Boys’ Home (website on the links section, feel free to donate at will) display to the National Conference on Youth Ministries. We have arrived in Atlanta. What a trip! We have laughed a lot already and have enjoyed each other’s company.
This is my first trip through Alabama and to Georgia, so I am excited about the potential fodder for scrapbooking! =)
As we arrived into town, it began snowing! I don’t know how often that occurs here, but it was a surprise to us. We tried to pack for various temperatures. However, we all had already been gone from Hollis for 1 week and had no idea what the weather would really be like by the time that we arrived at our final destination. I sweated profusely in East Texas the day after Christmas while we had been shopping. It was 29 degrees with blowing snow when we left Hollis the 21st. It was 60 plus and rainy in Tyler/Kilgore/Overton the 26th.
I will share with you, later, some of the funny things that have happened so far!
I am glad ya'll got to come and that you brought Daniel and Angela. Jen and I had fun the other day with ya'll at the Coke museum and dinner, and traveling to the Wallmarts with the parking lot on top. ATL is cool!
