I have not posted in quite some time on Thankful Thursday. So here we go!
Last night I got to/chose to be a part of a cool giving opportunity. In our small community of about 1600 people, about 100 turned out to give blood to benefit an infant who is connected to our community. They were able to take 81 units of blood. They said this is much more than they get donated when they go to Ft. Sill. It was such a great feeling to be part of this! I love our community!
We are excited to have decided that we have decided to stop waffling and living fearfully. We have scheduled an appointment to speak with the adoption specialist (or some title I can’t recall) at Christian Homes of Abilene September 21st. This is exciting and SCARY! Please pray with us as we take this very interesting journey. We also plan to speak with Christian Services of Oklahoma as well.
I am emotionally drained just thinking of this! So, praise to God.
