DIY Dry Erase Board

I found this picture at Goodwill for $2. I thought it would be useful. I'm sure this was treasured by its previous owner, but since it didn't match my decor, I thought I would repurpose it. I had 3 different ideas before I landed on this one.

I took off the backing and picture and cleaned the glass. The picture was glued to the backing, so I just flipped it over and went to work.

I have a ton of scrapbooking paper, so I went digging to find something I thought would look nice. I couldn't decide if I wanted to make this into a menu board, a calendar, or just a general board.

If our printer had ink, I would likely have done one of those, but ended up sticking with a board.

The patterned paper I cut into 2 inch strips and taped them to the board. I used a solid color to layer over the patterned, and then a 12x12 off white in the center.  Put all this back in the frame and you have your board!

And now a welcome to those coming over tomorrow night for a Bible Study/potluck!
